Membership
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
Open to all military and civilian personnel who have served or are currently serving in the infantry within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), irrespective of rank. As a Regular Member, you have the right to vote, be a director, serve as an officer, and chair a non-board committee. Access to Regular Membership is through a direct application process (click here). While the Board of Directors holds the authority to set annual dues, it's important to note that, at present, there are no dues, and membership is entirely free.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Designed for individuals who have served or are serving as Canadian Public Service Employees of non-Department of National Defence (DND) governmental departments, corporate or private industry, or those affiliated with an Allied Infantry organization. Additionally, individuals deemed to bring credit and value to the Association may also apply. Please refer to the Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) for any restrictions on holding specific Officer positions on the Board.

As an Associate Member, you have the right to vote, be an officer (subject to restrictions outlined in the P&Ps), and chair a non-board committee. Access to Associate Membership is available through a direct application process (click here). Annual dues may apply, subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Life Membership is an esteemed honour bestowed by the Board upon members who have demonstrated outstanding and continuous service to the Association. The specific criteria for this honour will be detailed in the Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) of the Association.

As a Life Member, you retain the privilege to vote, serve as a director, hold an officer position, and chair a committee. Access to Life Membership is granted by a vote of the board, and no annual dues are required.
HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
Honorary Membership is a prestigious honour bestowed by the Board upon individuals—whether civilian or military—who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the Infantry profession and are not eligible for Regular or Associate membership.

As an Honorary Member, you hold the right to vote and chair a non-board committee. However, this membership category does not grant privileges for serving as a director or officer. Access to Honorary Membership is by vote of the board, and no annual dues are required.
